CARLETON PLACE CANOE CLUB

High performance Programs At a Glance:

Designed around Canoe Kayak Canada’s active for life Long Terms Athlete Development (LTAD) stage, the war canoe and healthy living programs teach participants intermediate to advanced paddling skills focusing on sport specific endurance, strength and speed. These programs will also develop athletes’ understanding and implementation of mental training and preparedness and the value of athlete specific nutrition. CPCC has developed many Provincial, National, and Olympic team athletes and aims to continue this tradition through instilling an appreciation of good work ethic, dedication, organizational skills, and teamwork.
