masters program At a Glance:

Designed around the LTAD Active for Life stage with a focus on fitness, fun and well-being, this program focuses on skills development based on specific individual goals. The Masters programs offer competitive and recreational opportunities in canoe/kayak and war canoes. Participants can take part in local and national competitions, but costs do not include regatta fees, which can be purchased separately. Program participants can also join the Adult Dragon Boat program for an additional $100 (includes Carleton Place Dragon Boat Festival CPCC crew entry fee)

Masters War Canoe

Participants will be taught intermediate to advanced paddling skills in war canoe by an experienced and certified coach with a progression towards participation at local regattas and the National Championships (CANMAS).

Masters Canoe and Kayak

Program runs May 1st – August 24th, 2018


Tuesday & Thursday Coached Session from 6:30pm - 8:00pm

Wednesday open session from 6:00pm - 7:30pm


Registration does not include Local, Provincial or National regatta fees, or Coach travel fees.

Program fee - $325

Insurance & Affiliation - $100

Total Program Cost - $425

Personal Equipment
Boats, paddles and other personal equipment can be stored at the club, however members will be charged an additional $50 per year for personal boat storage.
